The SCOUT engineering system supports you step-by-step and makes the engineering simple and efficient.

You have the choice with the programming of SIMOTION: graphically with Motion Control Chart (MCC), as commonly used in the PLC with ladder logic (LAD) / function block diagram (FBD) or with the higher-level language Structured Text (ST). The SCOUT engineering system understands them all. In addition to motion control commands (e.g. Home axis), commands for I/O access, logic and calculation, subroutine calls and control of the program flow are also available. Complex motion relationships can also be easily programmed using the cam editors.

All data for a machine is managed in a project:

Configuration data, programs, motion profiles and drive data. The appropriate tools are then called from the central project management, e.g. for the input of a cam or the commissioning of a drive.

SCOUT also supports the testing, the commissioning and the error diagnostics of SIMOTION applications with a range of functions, such as Program status, Control variables, the Trace and the axis control panel.
