Networking of trainee and instructor workstations enables effective communication between the instructor and the trainees. The trainees are individually shown how to deal with specific problems. The terminals at the trainee workstations have the same keyboards as the machines.

The trainees make their own workpieces and then have them checked by means of DIN simulation. Each trainee is shown an exact image of his/her workpiece on the monitor. The error-free programs are then transferred to the machine tools via the network.

Trainee workstations can be connected together to form a teaching network

The training network for transfer of images and data allows the instructor to send any screen contents to single terminals or all the terminals in the network. The instructor can also use his/her own workstation to view any trainee's screen contents without the trainee noticing. The instructor's PC thus becomes a workstation from where CNC training is directed and the instructor can intervene in the training process at any time. This makes it possible to monitor the progress of any trainee.
