Drive Control Chart (DCC) for SINAMICS S120 and SIMOTION

The Drive Control Chart (DCC) provides graphic engineering and extended functionality using freely available control, arithmetic and logic blocks.

DCC enhances the possibility to conveniently configure technological functions both for the SIMOTION Motion Control system and for the SINAMICS S120 drive system. The stated systems can be exactly adapted to the specific machine functions. The DCC does not underlie any limitations regarding the number of usable function, which is only limited by the performance of the target platform.

The SINAMICS S120 basic positioner (EPos) is provided with an integrated functionality for absolute and relative positioning of linear and rotary axes with motor encoder and machine encoder.

EPos provides powerful and precise positioning functions. Due to its high flexibility and superior adaptability, the basic positioner can be used for a large range of positioning applications. The functions are easy to handle both during commissioning and in operative mode and are also characterized by comprehensive monitoring functions. Many applications can thus be performed without using positioning controllers.
