SIMODRIVE POSMO SI is a distributed servo drive system connected to PROFIBUS-DP as a direct node.

Compact design

SIMODRIVE POSMO SI with its integrated power module, control module, motor, position control and program memory saves time and money during installation and start-up.

Power is supplied via the 600 V DC power module. There is no need for an additional external power supply thanks to the distributed 24 V DC electronic supply in the drive.

Function scope:

• Positioning functionality with programmable sequence of motion
• Operation as PROFIBUS-DP standard slave with high-speed cyclical data transfer to the master
• Interpolating sequence of motion with other nodes through higher-level control system via PROFIBUS-DP
• Integrated absolute measuring system
• Quick start-up of all PROFIBUS-DP drives via SimoCom U
