First prize for ShopMill / ShopTurn multimedia

The German prize on educational software, digita, was awarded under the patronage of Doris Ahnen (minister for education, women and youth of the Land Rheinland-Pfalz) at the trade show on education in Cologne (February 19 to 24, 2002). The first prize of the category "job-oriented basic and further training - specialist training" was awarded to the A&D MC product "ShopMill / ShopTurn multimedia".

"The jury awards the, digita, to a path-breaking multimedia learning system presenting a new era of shopfloor-oriented training. 'ShopMill / ShopTurn multimedia' was developed on the technological basis of the SINUMERIK CNC software. The system prepares trainees, specialist workers and retrainers for work with CNC machine tools.
