You are automatically sent the latest software update over a period of one year, either being service packs or even new full versions. This service automatically enables to you to always have the latest software version available. Errors due to obsolete software can thus be avoided. The update service contract has a period of validity of one year and is extended automatically by another year each if it is not cancelled before the period of validity expires.

After having ordered the update service, you will receive a confirmation in writing. It does not include a CD-version of Drive ES Basic, as the update service is always only related to an existing version acquired before separately.
Example: You acquire a single license for Drive ES Basic V5.2 in October 2003 and in addition an update service for Drive ES Basic. You will be sent automatically all updates for Drive ES Basic Version V5.2 and higher until October 2004 at least.
