The DC motors remain to be a high-quality alternative to the AC technology. In conjunction with SIMOREG, they form optimum, variable-speed drives for numerous industry sectors and are being used wherever cost-efficient technology and high availability are required.

On our cranes, we mainly rely on the following DC motors:

• The new generation of series 7 1GG7 DC motors, shaft heights 355, 400 and 450
• The force-cooled 1GG5 / 1GG6 DC motors
• The self-cooled 1HA5 / 1HA6 DC motors
