Remote Control Systems (RCS)
RCS@Event as well as RCS Host and RCS Viewer are modules of the Motion Control Information System (MCIS)
product family. With the e-mail reporting software RCS@Event for machines with SIMOTION ® and SINUMERIK ®
controllers, service or maintenance personnel can respond to alarms and messages around the clock on a
global basis. Immediate and direct notification of the responsible personnel automatically by e-mail or
SMS reduces response times and therefore downtimes. In the event of a fault, the RCS Host or RCS Viewer
software can be used to request and carry out remote diagnostics by e-mail for online fault elimination
or damage limitation. If service intervention becomes necessary, it can be planned more selectively.
