SIRIUS motor starters
Communication-capable SIRIUS motor starters are available for every customer demand:
 |
For spatially concentrated drives: ET 200S motor starters in IP20 and ET 200pro motor starters in IP65
|
 |
For distributed drives: ECOFAST motor starters in IP65
|
The communication-capable SIRIUS motor starters are an integral part of Totally Integrated Automation,
and can therefore be easily and quickly integrated and visualized in the automation systems with the
usual mechanisms. They also bring important benefits for plant operators regarding maintenance.
Maintenance features of the SIRIUS motor starters
The distributed I/O ET 200pro and ECOFAST motor starters support the most important functions to ensure
preventive maintenance, short downtimes and optimum monitoring of plant processes. The ET 200S motor
starters can be put to optimum use in small control cabinets for the purpose of decentralization and
provide a good deal of maintenance data about cyclic data traffic on the bus systems.
Preventive maintenance:
The ET 200pro and ECOFAST motor starters provide information such as the current phase current and
monitoring of the upper and lower current limit values. Additional information such as switching frequency,
ON time of the motor starter, operating time of the motor, tripping frequency and last tripping current can be
read out over SwitchES. The ET 200S motor starters offer distinctive diagnostics and transmit the currently
highest phase current over PROFIBUS's/PROFINET's cyclic data traffic. Additional maintenance information can be
read out over the serial device interface.
Short downtimes:
Faults can be easily and quickly diagnosed via bus or LEDs. If the motor starter has to be replaced, the new motor
starter is automatically assigned the appropriate parameters. The motor starter can be quickly replaced thanks to
plug-in technology for 400V and easy installation.
Optimum monitoring of plant processes:
The parameters can also be individually modified during operation using the DPV1 services, ensuring ideal matching
of the parameters to the plant processes.
