DC-Motors Series 5

Series 5 DC motors of shaft height 500 and 630 are available within a power range of 300 - 1610 kW and a torque range of 8000 - 42000 Nm.
The 6-pole motors have a laminated stator yoke and thus allow for a dynamic converter operation, with current rates of change up to 250 I_N/sec.
These machines are only designed with compensation winding.

The high-class DURIGNIT 2000^® insulation system (insulation class F) guarantees safe operation and long operational life, even with intermittent overloads. This insulation allows operation in unfavourable climate conditions.
