DC-Motors Series 6

Series 6 DC motors are available from frame size 160 up to 280. For these, the power range is between 30 kW and 510 kW, and the torque between 300 and 3400 Nm.
The 4-pole motors are uncompensated.
With the fully-laminated magnetic circuit it is possible to achieve current rates of change up to 250 I_N/sec.

The high-class DURIGNIT 2000^® insulation system facilitates use in tropical humidity and industrial environments. All coils are completely impregnated in constructed state; the rotor coils are enclosed in order to prevent the entry of brush dust.
