PM-OPEN IMPORT:
Importing process data

| PM-OPEN IMPORT offers the possibility to import the WinCC flexible
archives(data logs, alarm logs and audit trails) automatically into the
WinCC system. Thus these data can be archived for a long time period in a
SQL Server database format of a central SIMATIC WinCC System while WinCC
flexible uses CSV files for archiving. Of course the original timestamps of
WinCC flexible are obtained. As soon as the data is imported, the WinCC
standard functionality can be used to display and evaluate the data. In
this way SIMATIC meets the reqirements for a safe, central long-time
archiving of relevant data throughout the entire automation environment
(from panels close to the machine up to a central SCADA system) as
they are defined in the FDA regulations as well as in EU regulation
178/2002.

Functionality
PM-OPEN IMPORT allows to import the following data types into the WinCC
System:
- Import of WinCC flexible Data Logs
Data from WinCC flexible Data Logs is imported into the WinCC Tag Logging
and can be displayed as trends or tables using the WinCC standard
controls..
- Import of WinCC flexible Alarm Logs
Data from WinCC flexible Alarm Logs is imported into the WinCC Alarm
Logging and can be displayed as tables using the WinCC standard control.
- Import of WinCC flexible Audit-Trails
Data from WinCC flexible Data Audit Trails is imported into the WinCC
Alarm Logging and can be displayed like WinCC operator messages in the
WinCC standard control. The operator messages include the
"Username", "Commenr" and if applicable the "Tagname", "Old
value" and
"New value" .
