Tecnica
Elettronica, a system integrator from Verona (Italy)
practises Web-based HMI when managing and monitoring a
cogenerating plant in the Varo Paper mill. The
plant built by STC ATEL reuses the heat of a power
generator to feed a conditioning boiler. It is
equipped with latest Siemens automation technology,
including an MP370 Multi Panel for the HMI tasks. By
employing the WinCC flexible/Sm@rtService option Tecnica
Elettronica is able to cope with maintenance and service
tasks via the Internet.
