The Ibn-Zahr Saudi-European Petrochemical Company in Al Jubail
(Saudi-Arabia) is one of the worlds most important producers of polypropylen.
The company is a member of Sabic (Saudi
Arabian Basic Industries Corporation), it runs the worlds largest production
plant in Ibn-Zahr. High availability, ease of integration in existing systems and fast
system start-up for control and transport technology were required by the Saudi Arabian
petrochemical company from the automation specialists at Petronik Schaltanlagenbau GmbH
in Mettendorf near Trier.
