Peterstaler Mineralquellen

The Peterstaler Mineralquellen GmbH operates filling
plants for mineral water and non alcoholic beverages at its
headquarters in Bad Peterstal and in Bad Rippoldsau.
For more flexible utilization of the plants, both sites
which are 14 km apart were joined by pipelines in a project
which is unique in the industry. At the same time, the
entire transport system was automated to the
state-of-the-art to integrate the production on the control
and operating side. A consistently distributed solution
with a communication based on Profinet was set up with
WinCC flexible.

Since then, the mineral waters of both springs can be processed at both sites
depending on the capacity and requirements without having to be
transported first round the mountain by tank trucks as before.
