The PEKASS Automatisierungstechnik (Automation Technology) GmbH
located in Wernau near Stuttgart is a new, innovative company in the field of complex manufacturing systems.
For the production of plug connectors for motor vehicle auxiliary heaters,
PEKASS recently designed assembly system with three placement stations for pins and twelve continuously running workpiece carriers, two inspection
stations, manipulators/robots for inserting the pins and removing the finished part
as well as a swivel arm-mounted SIMATIC Multi Panel MP270, the central operator device for the entire manufacturing cell.
