"Paper
does not tolerate just any Climate" -
Building Process Control for the Publisher of the Nordwest - Zeitung Oldenburg
|
 |
|
|
Modern printing operations require a special climate: The
room temperature has to be kept at a constant 20°C and
the humidity between 50 and 60 percent - otherwise, the
paper rolls running through the rotary machine at a very
high speed will rip or the precise feed rollers will
develop a rust film while idle. Add to this the climate
control of the enclosed machine control room, shipping
halls and offices, the supply of 10°C cold process water
and compressed air to the printing presses as well as the
low voltage distribution and the lighting control.
