Retrofit for casting-foil co-extruder

With new control technology and a
state-of-the-art HMI system from Simatic, Nordenia Deutschland Gronau GmbH has
prompted a proven casting foil co-extruder to new peaks of performance. The
tangible results of the retrofit are constantly high product quality and much
shorter retooling times.

Nordenia contracted the ATG Automatisierung GmbH in Gronau to
implement the technically demanding expectations.
Hardware based control technology were displaced by a S7-400 controller with a
FM 455S control module, and operation was made easy by employing a Multi Panel
270.
