Process visualization in a plant for aerated concrete

Consistent automation of 14 plant sectors, a redundant system architecture, a
comprehensive yet simplified quality management, efficient fault analysis, IT
integration and remote visualization , it seemed everything a modern SCADA
system is expected to achieve was part of the customers requirements. A
challenge for five year old but very succesfull automation company Klotter Elektrotechnik GmbH.
The automation specialists from the south west of Germany presented
a concept which convinced Europes leading producer of aerated concrete
building materials.
WinCC at its maximum expansion level and the option packages WinCC/User
Archives and WinCC/ Web Navigator made possible a single source solution with
proven components and a minimum of enginneering effort. |

Having realized two of the planned three stages in automating the plant,
success is already granted: the concrete works has evolved to being the most
productive site in Germany.
