Sewage plant at Adelsdorf increases the availability
The community of Adelsdorf in Southern Germany has newly automated
and uniformly visualized the operation of the sewage plant and water
works including all the remote buildings. Multiple redundant automation
and control technology makes the operation transparent, the system
highly available and relieves the strain on the community treasuryJ
The solution developed by K+S Richter Schaltanlagenbau and the
Automation Solution Partner Hermos integrates 11 local and 14
decentralized units into a consistent system employing remote control
technology as well as web-based applications. |

Based on SIMATIC S7-400 controllers and WinCC process visualization
software Hermos added the Redundancy option for increasing availability and
the WinCC/Web Navigator to link the wide-spread clients to rhe central
system.
