In the hot flat rolling mill at Hoesch in Hagen by the river
Lenne, the water greatly contributes to the quality of the products. The
water, which has to be available at all times, is electronically controlled
and distributed for example via 50 individually controlled spray beams. Correspondingly high are requirements asked of
the water supply automation system. For this task, Schauer Engineering
Vienna implemented an automation concept based on components of the
SIMATIC range, which makes all processes transparent and easy to control.
