refined" Coffee roaster Dallmayr modernizes Berlin roasting plant with
Siemens automation technology
|

|
|
Alois Dallmayr Kaffee Berlin GmbH, a subsidiary of
the renowned Munich delicatessen house, produces about 200
tons of roasted coffee daily. The company's consistently
high quality and productivity are ensured in part by
control and visualization technology from Siemens. The
automation supplier G&M Automation implemented the
powerful S7-400 Controller and the SCADA system SIMATIC
WinCC during modernization of the roasting plant. |

From goods receipt through packaging, the entire production process is
monitored and controlled by means of WinCC client-server architecture. The
system makes use of both the Web-Client functions of the WinCC/WebNavigator
and two MP 370 Multi Panels, which are configured as thin clients.
