Hi Eastern,

Thanks for your response.

I have very little knowledge about the netwrok configuration with more than one plc and Netpro.
I am new to this. Just started working on it.
I could not understand what you said. Actually, I ativated  the status activatedeactivate status connection  button in netpro, there I observed connection status as not available (online mode of netpro, I understood in that way).
If possible could you please guide me how can I check the connections?

Thanks in advance,
Regards,
CVS

Hello,
See attached setting. connect ethernet cable with same network. try browes option & try to get mac address. if you get both cp's mac address that means connections are ok.

While communication(data transfer betweens 2 devices) 3 things are improtant.
1) protocal
2) connection
3) communication setting in both the devices.

Hello Ammy en Eastern,

Thank you both of you for your valuable suggestions.

Ammy,
I stopped them and started them  the two cpus in simulation mode. but the same problem exists.
Just I am checking with the simulation. I don't have any hardware.

Eastern,

I browsed for mac address when they are in runmode in simulation. They have some mac address exists.

I don't know my network configuration is proper or not. my idea is to just transfer data from cpu 1 to cpu 2.
Actually,I have searched for communication in this site, I got some program for 400 cpu. First I tried that one in simulation mode( it was with send and rcv blocks) and worked well. I colud send data from cpu1 to cpu2. Connection status was also okey.
Later on I tried with 300 cpu( with send and rcv also with put get) but i am not able to get the connection.
Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Hello,
Meanwhile i can suggest another communication with your present hardware.
On MPI port
1) Globle data communication
2) SFC 67(X_GET) & SF68(X_PUT)

On profibus

1) Master slave communication.

For sure your present cp communcation should work. pls. try following.

1) Create new project & do all necessary setting in netpro
2) just call get & put block manually

Thank you for your answer. I tried to do with global data communication at first. but I could not understand, what to define in the GD table, later i have decide to communicate with ethernet. Using that what is the situation is you know....
Could you please help me any documentation on Gloabal data communication and Defining GD table.

Sure, Mean while I will try to do with another type of comunication.

Thanks in advance,

Dear CVS

I never used the functions that you mention but if you still get failure, I recomment you try to use FC5 (AG_SEND) nad FC6 (AG_RECV) at communication library (Simatic_Net_CP). These two functions also easy and useful for communication via ethernet TCP/IP with CP 343-1.
if you want to get reference, let me know, I will upload later.

Cheers
Sie-enauto
