Dear All,

I have problem with Simatic Batch Client connection.

My project has 3 PC: 1 Server (A) and 2 Client (B and C). They are using Windows XP SP3. I config:
- in PC A: OS Server and Batch Server
- in PC B and C: OS(ref) and Batch Client.

I set 3 PC has the same username and passwork (User: beerhanoi, Pass:12345) , same workgroup, IP OK. After install SIMATIC PCS 7 SP1, I choose batch data location on "D:\BatchData".

After installed and configurated, Batch Client on PC B can connect to Batch Server on PC A and work fine, but Batch Client in PC C can not connect to Batch Server. When I open Batch Control Center on PC C, it appears table said that "Cant not connect to server". Then I go to Start-> Run and type "\\SERVER01", which SERVER01 is the name of PC A, it appeared a message to input Username and Pass. I entered User "beerhanoi" and pass "12345", but when I press enter, the username change to "SERVER01\beerhanoi" and let me enter password again. I did many times but it couldnt connect to PC A.

Yesterday, I didnt understand why PC B lost connect to Batch Server and it also has the same problem with PC C. Now the operator just operate batch in 1 PC A. It's a big problem.

I'd checked connection cables, they're ok because each PC can connect correctly to PLC ( each of them has ref OS).

I dont know the reason is in my configuration or virus. Is there any virus can cause that problem? Can anybody give me an advise what must be check?

Thank you very much.
