I am trying to integrate the control of MasterDrive MC Plus into an aplication in Labview.

I use Drivemonitor with the RS232 serial cable directly to control the Masterdrive. Actually, I only have established an USS connection between Drivemonitor and Masterdrive. But I want to control it with LabVIEW. What I need is one revolution at 20/30RPM and read the actual positioning value with the fastest possible rate.

What I did until now was trying VISA (LabVIEW) and writing R185 (ASCII) – Actual Positioning Value –, but I didn’t receive anything from the Masterdrive. 

I have see the USS parameters, but I am not sure that I can adjust the parameters of the speed, position and read the actual positioning value with the fastest possible rate.

Does anybody know how to help me? Maybe exists a library in LabVIEW to do it, or if you have a code example (not necessarily on LabVIEW, coud be C or other programming languages)
