Dear Experts,

This is my first post here in this forum.Actually I have little experience with Siemens systems because we are with Allen Bradley background , but our client asked for Siemens . Anyway I've problems with my FH system , I hope you can Help me with it.

My System consists of

1- 2 * CPU 412-3HJ14-0AB0

2- 2 *IM 153-2BA02-0XB0 EACH CONTAINS [3*(326-1BK02 -0AB0)+5*(326-2BF10-0AB0)]

The system is configured for full redundancy i.e. redundant IM153 ,redundant I/O and for sure redundant CPU.

OK, the problems are :

1-when I downloaded the program one of the CPU goes to stop mode, without clear reason when I checked the diagnostic buffer the error doesn't exist.

2- Working with one CPU when I try to force a value on the output from the CFC editor >test mode>sim_I ,the output is switched on on both cards (redundant I/O) which is nice but after 5 to 10 sec the output shows red led( fault) when I checked the diagnostic buffer I found short circuit fault . so I tested the circuit the relays everything but found nothing.

3-The CPU enters stop mode after this fault occurrence. is there any way to prevent the CPU from entering stop mode , I've redundant system with redundant I/O to decrease the down time.

your prompt response is appreciated .

Sorry for my English , my first language is Spanish

Regards

Dear Gents,

I made some steps that corrected somehow the situation, but I need confirmation of you experts ,

1- deleted all system generated charts( I saw such action in one of the forum threads )

2-recompiled the charts

3- Downloading the HW config for both stations

4- Downloading blocks(not charts)to one station ,and checked the other station(on line and I found it)

are these the normal procedures ?

How can I prevent the CPU from stop mode when a fault occur on one channel?(I've full redundancy -I/O and CPU)

It's urgent now

Regards

Hi

Well  you will have error OB's loaded in the block folder automatically when you compile your chart's.

Is your system PCS7 or normal S7400 FH system.

Check for the Error OB to get generated for eg. OB121, OB 122, and OB from 80 to 87. It suits for diffrent application.

Have fun...Rnf:lblSmileyTooltip_

Dear TAGOLOVER,

Thank you for your reply, My system is S7 not PCS7 ,and the error Ob's aren't automatically loaded when I compiled the charts, is there any way to make them generated when I compile? do I miss something?

Hi

If your system is S7 then you will have to import the Error Ob's for your project.

Have fun...Rnf:lblSmileyTooltip_
