Hi

We have a Simodrive 611 System with an 840D Controller and I am getting the above error message. The machine is a Handtmann 800 5 Axis CNC Machine. My problem is when the system goes through startup it is saying none of the drives are referenced and I cannot perform an NC-Start. I am wondering if this module is causing the problem. On the LEDS the only one which is on is the amber one in the middle of the second row. The module number is a E/R Module int.55/71KW. Another thing I notice is that when the 611 is booting up there is a red LED lit on the drive modules (-X35) when the boot process is finished these LEDS go out.

Any help would be appreicated.

Nick

Hello....
The alarm what is mentioned is User alarm this messages are created by the Machine manufacturer.

If i understand your alarm message its tells me the drive ready output is not coming from it....
Check your X111 connector...and the Enables....

Prakash

This sounds like a problem with the "Ready Signal" from the E/R module
on Terminals 72, 73.1, 73.2 & 74 of Terminal Block X111
It is very often feed to a PLC Input and used as a
signal which when lost brings up a PLC User Alarm
such as you have indicated.

Find a competent Electrician for the following.

Isolate the Machine/Control from 415 Volt Main Supply.
Wait Five minutes for Stored Energy to Discharge.

There are usually two cables connected to X111.
Disconnect them from the E/R module and connect them together.

Switch power back on and startup machine as normal.
If you find this clears the fault you have a faulty relay inside the
E/R module. I've seen this a few times before.

I've never fixed or found the internal relay.
Just replaced the whole E/R Module.

Best Regards
