810D Powerline "Waiting for NCK Connection"

(0)  Dear all, I am new to this site and have tried to browse thorugh most of the threads related to this but was unable to find a solution. We have a Spinner TC-82-MC CNC lathe with Siemens 810D Powerline with Shopturn. There was a power failure and then the machine is not starting up. The machine shows a screen with "810D powerline Shopturn" and at the bottom it is written "waiting for NCK connection". The machine just sits there doing nothing. The 7 seg display initially shows 6 but after a few seconds the display shows nothing but the decimal point. The NC and PLC side LED are all lit as below: +5v (Green)-----------------PR (Green) NF  (Red)--------------------PS (Red) SF  (Red)--------------------PF (Red) CB  (Dark Orange)-------PFU (Dark Orange) 0     (Light Orange)-------0     (Light Orange) The ENABLE LED on Simodrive is off as well. Can you please let us know how to solve this problem?

I had to check whether I had the backup files or not, as I am a fairly new recruit over here. But yes, we have the files apparantly, but I do not know the correct procedure to replace the backup files. Can you please provide me with a guideline or a text of that sort describing the process and hardware and software required?

(0)  Hello.... What type of backups do you have ?? could you gives us the details... You can load the backups with WINPCIN software....with help of RS232 You Can also load your archive backups from your laptop i mean your NC-PLC with the help of HMI Advanced PC/PG for this you need to have this software in your laptop accessiores required are Cp5611 card that sits in your PCI slot of your laptop and MPI cable is requried for communicating Regards, Prakash Please no technical questions by Private Message(PM), use the FORUM!!!!!

(0)  Thank You very much for your relpy Mr Prakash. I have searched for those software and hardware you mentioned and I think I will be able to manage them. Is there any step by step guidelines to access the files on the NC-PLC in this website? I saw a reset procedure in one of the threads. Will resetting the S4, S3 and Blue Reset S1 help in this case before replacing the files? I will get back to you after further updates. Thanks in Advace!

What type of backups do you have with you(NC-PLC).....gives this details. You need to clear your NC(S3 Switch) and PLC(S4 switch) before loading the files... Check it out and revert back....
