please tell me how to make a push button which continuously increases/decrease the value of a vriable in PLC .

Hello,

Please, specify what software will be used there? Basically in WinCC or WinCC Flex have in built buttons for increase/decrease. Just need to assign them to a specific tag which is connceted in PLC logic to do the job.

It is hardware pushbutton or soft button in HMI please mention it.

hi,

please elaborate your requirement, with following details,

1. software used: WinCC or WinCC Flex
2. Exact requirement why you need this type of pushbutton
3. do you want the soft or the hard wired button

also think from the entire application perspective and give the details accordingly.

Dear  ahsan

          Make a logic in the plc program that when the push button(hold button) is actuated
then make the timer on/of ,on/off followed by an up counter then ur value will add deponding on the pulse on/off, on/off the timer

when u press the decerese button v make the down counter act and the value will get decrese

u can move the counter value to your  desired out put

Hi ,

If u are using a seperate Push Buttons for Inc & Decreasing this can be done in the button properties itself.

Set a bit while press & reset the same bit while release so that u can use these respective bits in the PLC logic..
