dear sir,

please suggest what i do for mcp failure comes when start machine. after 1 or 2 minuts it is coming in running mode.
please needful for my problem........

how do you indentify the error on the mcp ?

did you have any error messages ?

MCP IS NOT DEFECTIVE BUT IT IS NOT IN RUN MODE IMMIDIATLY. SO SOMETIME IT IS BLINKING.

Hello....

Does your MCP is properly grounded ???

Does your MCP is IE / PN type( Industrial ethernet / Profinet) is your using this are using the Siemens Std cable

Hi ekalvya,

I too facing the same problem...

When starting the machine.. MCP takes more time to boot.. Actually along with the plc mcp should

start, but not happening during NCU booting.

After some 6 minutes time blinking stops and mcp comes to working condition...

But If We give NCK reset from OP, mcp is booting perfectly along with PLC...

Problem will be from NCU or OB100 parameters in PLC...

Following Parameters i hav set in OB100..

in mine there's no way to insert

- MCPBusType :=B#16#55

because that parameter is a boolean.

Hello,

On one off my machine I have a similar problem with MCP over Ethernet. The machine run well for some years.
I check with Network System Center to check system dhcp, dns, OPs...
When I do that the error disappears and the MCP connect.
Check IP address with VNCScanner (uncheck port 5900).
What shows the file in :\user_base\Services\udhcpd\var\lib\misc\udhcpd.leases.
In this file you will find mac address, IP, DNS name for your MCP

On my machine the problem is a know DNS problem and I need to upgrade to PCU Base Version 8.2.

Hello Pierre,

my problem is not with the hardware connection of the HT8, is well functioning and connecting it I can control the PCU... my problem is when I try to configure the plc in order to "read" the vertical keys and the override handle of the HT8... at the moment without success...
