CU320 Confuiguration

Dear all,

In my configuration, I have one SLM and 1 Motor module ( 1000 kW) for stand Motor in Mill.

Motor module wil be configured in vector mode using SMC 30. Due to analog outputs i have used TM31 also. 
 
Please confirm me whether one CU320-2 DP is sufficient for 1 SLM, 1 MM with SMC 30 and TM31.
or  do i have to consider 2 CU 320???

one Cu320-2 is enough for this configuration.

Is there any documentation for selection of CU 320  depending upon the application.w.r.t loading of CU320 or use of Enhancement CFC??

For eg..for  1 CU320 can support 4 MoMo but if all 4 should  run in v/f mode.
If we have to use 4 MoMo in vector mode then we have to go for 2  CU320.
 and if the application is much more advanced like using basic positioner we have to select 1 CU320 for 1 MoMo.

Sinamics Sizer is the program for selecting motors, Sinamics drives and control units based on requirements you are talking about. It is not available for download from the web, but is available free from any Siemens rep or distributor.

Dear Denis

I know that we have sizer software for deciding the CU320 configuration but additionally are there any manual/documentation deciding the criteria apart from sizer software.

  "SINAMICS S120 Commissioning Manual"

  you can find concerned configurations on 27 ~ 41 page.


  that manual file is too large to upload on this board.
