Communication of MM440 drive by cp341 card with the help of

Dear all,

I want to communicate MM440 through USS  by cp341 card.
cpu-315-2dp.
Please give some information regarding USS cable and communication should i use the cat5 cable for communication or profibus for MM440 and CP341.

Dear sir,

i have connected 11+  4- and 8 gnd at my cp card 341.

At MM440 i have connected 29+ 30- and ground.

On my cp card transmit led is glowing but i am not getting any data on drive.

Is it possible to communicate one master and one slave on USS protocol.Please help me out.

Dear Sandy

Here are some tips :

a) Check If Communication settings Address, Baud Rate etc in MM440 Drive and in the CP & your Software.

b)  You have not mentioned what software blocks are you using for USS communication.
     Check the communication settings and BCC generation.

   
c) Also you could connect a Serial communication monitoring software like "Docklight" and see if the Telegram being transmitted by the CP341 is what you want. ( Including the BCC )

BCC formation???
