Dear Experts,

We’re encountering some strange warnings when we compile our WinCC project (sometimes up to 4212 warnings). Even after reorganizing the project in Simatic Manager, delete the temporary files in WinCC, using “Save and Optimize” in WinCC and rebuild the complete project again the (blue) warnings remain.
Underneath you will find the warnings we get:

-          Warning:  The STEP7 text lexicon ERRTEXTLIBEXPNddd43540-820b-4150-8db5-574a5f5c25a2 for the alarm-s message 1610612756 in value 3 was not found.

-          Warning:  The number of values in the STEP 7 ALARM_S alarm 1610612743 'nl-NL' exceeds the maximum number.

Does anyone encounter the same problems? Does anyone know a suitable solution to avoid this annoying warnings? Thanks in advance!

We’re using Simatic WinCC flexible version 2008 SP2 Upd13 and Simatic Manager version V5.5 + SP1.

As far as I’m aware these warnings did appear after the last update of Simatic Manager.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Hello,

You should copy from Step 7 the WinCC flexible project with the function " Copy from Step7".
You find this function in WinCC flexible, Project --> Copy from Step7.
Then you open this WinCC flexible Project(standalone).
You use the function  "Delete Temporary Files". Options ---> "Delete Temporary Files"
You use the function " Rebuild All". Project -->Compiler --> Rebuild All
You save the project and use for integration of the project the function "Integrate in Step7".

Hello Tweety,

Thanks for your prompt reply! I just followed the steps you mentioned, but unfortunately without any luck (please see attachment for a screenshot). Both errors remain (sometimes I get more, sometimes I get a couple less). I hope you have more ideas in order to solve this problem.

Thanks in advance for all ideas!

Yes i have, but to no avail.

I haven't contacted support yet, they never seem to be of much use anyway, which is why I was trying around on the forums.

You do this with your project?
Then you can try this.
You delete the FB 44, FB 45 and DB 44, DB 45 in your S7 project. This are the default FBs and DBs.Then you must generate the alarm S messages in S7 PDIAG new.

Yes tweety, I tried all of these, but nothing seems to work.

It doesn't stop the project from functioning, but it is quite annoying! It would be nice to compile with no warnings.

Hi,

had the same problem after I installed Step7 v5.5 SP1.

Got the following solution from Siemens support:

1. Open the HW Config of the PLC select the PLC and go to \Options\Report system error\"Messages and remove the flag "Optimized creation of messages".
2. Open your WinCC Flexible project and try again.

If this doesn´t help Please do the following:
1. Open your WinCC Flexible project and "copy from Step 7" under /Project/copy from Step 7.
2. Open your Step 7 project an delete the old WinCC Flexible projekct.
3. Deleting the instanz DB´s.
4. Please save the project with the function "save as" and pick the option "With reorganization (slow)" .
5. Open the WinCC flexible project.
6. In WinCC Flexible please open "Project/Integrate in STEP7 and select your new Step 7 project.
7. then create in Step 7 (Netpro) a new connection from HMI to PLC and try again.

Regards
Rikard

Hi Rikard.

This problem is solved with the above first idea.

My program is Step7 v5.5 SP1 and WinccFlexible 2008 SP2. How to run other functions, this method will have an effect?

Thank you...

Hello sekoco,

Can you say more about your behaviour which you have with Step7 and WinCC flexible?
