Simadyn-D with S7 400 ET modules?

(0)  Hi, We are using a Simadyn-D system with distributed ET stations. The Simadyn-D is programmed through struc.The SS51 module (CS-7) is used in simadyn rack for communication and connection of ET stations. The ET's are programmed through ComET 200 software. Since the ET-200 modules like IM modules (IM 308 8MB12)6ES5318-8MB12 & other DI/DO modules have become obsolete we want to use S7 400 or 300 ET modules. Is it possible? We have facility to programe ComET-200 and strc at our site. Regards, Prashant

KSN Beigetreten am: 25.08.2006 Letzter Besuch: 18.05.2013 Beiträge: 898 Bewertung:  (85)	(0)  Yes, in FP you will need at least to replace @CSL2D to @CSL2A (or add @CSL2A) and change address connectors AT, AR. Also it may be required to change in/out telegrams to the new slaves.

(0)  Hi KSN I checked and found we are using @CSL2D.I have gone through P32 manual there it is clearly written that @CSL2A is profibus DP link central block but what is the name of link for which we are using @CSL2D.This FB is not mentioned in our manual but we are using it.
