SIWAREX Weighing System Trainer Package
 The SIWAREX Trainer Package contains all the weighing components you need to turn a SIMATIC controller into a weighing and dosing controller. Because a weighing system is a good example of combining different technologies, such as mechanical components, sensors, electronic components and software, the SIWAREX Trainer Package can serve as a perfect basis for the training of mechatronics while also promoting interdisciplinary thinking. The load cell included in the package is based on the widely used EMS (expansion measuring strip) principle. The explanatory material shows how a mechanical quantity is converted into an electrical signal and then digitized, and how it can be displayed with the aid of visualization software. SIWAREX U and SIWAREX FTA are modules for SIMATIC S7-300. SIWAREX U is used for force and weight acquisition. SIWAREX FTA fulfills the demands of complex dosing tasks, such as a high level of accuracy at high speed, self-optimization of the dosage rate, tolerance control, automatic follow-up dosing, and so on.
