 There are four components which make  SIMATIC Batch a comprehensive solution for all batch processes in plants. Recipe Editor supports the generation and management of a large number of recipes, Batch Control monitors and controls batch handling – in parallel if necessary – and while the Batch Scheduling module takes care of the timing, the Reporting module documents all events that occur. A further advantage is that SIMATIC Batch and SIMATIC PCS 7 are based on the same engineering system, and thus access the same engineering data.
