Standardized Connection Creates System Uniformity
In
low-voltage power distribution, the SIVACON systems cover the entire range
from 25 A to 6300 A or 7400 A – with the S8, 8PV and 8PT switchboards and
the
8PS busbar trunking systems (CD-L, BD01, BD2, LD, LX and LR).
Whether power distribution is centralized or decentralized, SIVACON always
provides you with the best solution for cost-effective planning and reliable
operation.
Products are fully compatible
As a part of Totally Integrated Power, all components are naturally fully compatible
with other products and systems, including SIRIUS control devices, SENTRON circuit-breakers
and the appropriate software.
Type-tested connection of
switchboards S8, 8PV and 8PT with the busbar trunking systems LD and LX
The SIVACON power distribution boards and motor control centers, as well as the
SIVACON busbar trunking systems of types LD and LX can be connected easily and
reliably by means of a busbar trunking connection. This creates the basis for
a uniform system of low-voltage power distribution.
The busbar trunking connection shown above has been designed for a power range
from 1600 A to 6300 A and enables degrees of protection from IP20 to IP54. The
connection matches the SIVACON range of products and has been developed specifically
by Siemens for the IEC market.
In addition, the standardized busbar trunking connection renders previous special
designs superfluous and thus obviates the need for the frequently complicated
adaptation process entailed by such designs.
With the SIVACON range of products, the way has been opened up for uniform, complete
system solutions for the IEC market in the field of low-voltage power distribution.
