SIDAC Filters
Modern machines and industrial processes are unthinkable today without variable-speed drives. Due to the complexity and the high degree of automation, many modern electronic systems are particularly susceptible to fault signals that are generated by drives or other non-linear consumers. RFI-induced voltages, for example, or deviations of the supply voltage from a sine-wave.
This can have a detrimental effect on availability, but it does not have to be the case. Apart from optimized design of the equipment, when reliable components – such as our SIDAC filters – are involved, there is nothing to stand in the way of fault-free operation.
Advantages at a glance
Line-conducted electrical fault signals are attenuated, blocked or suppressed
Harmonics are reduced and the quality of the supply system is improved
Almost sinusoidal currents and voltages on a converter-fed motor and low-noise operation are assured
The reliability of applications is enhanced and in turn also that of plants and systems
