Safety Integrated

 |
Safety systems are intended to protect man and machine against hazardous situations. Frequently, it is not sufficient to prevent access to hazardous areas and zones by just providing protective devices and equipment around the machine in the form of hardware. As soon as manual interventions must be made in the hazardous zones of machines, additional safety functions are required.
The classic safety solution is to stop the machine by simply isolating the drive from |
the line supply in conjunction with mechanical equipment. However, this solution requires a considerable amount of wiring, circuitry and monitoring.
State-of-the-art solutions integrate the safety technology into the drive and permit user-friendly and flexible safety functions to be implemented, simplify safety concepts and ensure a high degree of reliability for an even faster response time.
The result: the highest degree of safety and cost-effectiveness for your plant or system.
