SIMATIC Factory Safety
Overview
Safety SIMATIC automation systems are used to control processes, and change into or remain in a safe state when a fault occurs. They provide an integrated, efficient safety concept in plants with particularly demanding safety requirements.
Compared with conventional safety technology, a safety SIMATIC also enables intelligent system access up to and including the electrical drives and measuring systems. The improved fault localization thanks to comprehensive diagnostics information enables a fast continuation of production after a safety-related shutdown.
