SIMATIC S7-mEC-RTX F is a safety, embedded controller in S7-300 design pre-installed with Windows XP Embedded and the SIMATIC WinAC RTX F S7 software controller.
It combines the benefits of the field-proven modular S7 controllers and PC technology in a single device, and it is especially suitable for high-performance applications.
All common PC interfaces, such as Ethernet or USB, are onboard as standard for open networking with the office world.
Both standard and safety tasks can be solved with just one controller.
The SIMATIC S7-mEC-RTX F can be expanded centrally with the safety I/O modules of the ET 200M. Distributed expansion is possible with the safety I/O ET 200S, ET 200M, ET 200pro (IP67) or the safety block I/O ET 200eco (IP67).
Communication can take place via the PROFIBUS or PROFINET interface.
