SIMATIC HMI IPC477C-RTX F is a fail-safe panel PC pre-installed with Windows XP Embedded (on Compact Flash Card) and the S7 software controller SIMATIC WinAC RTX F.
The compact device combines human machine interfacing and control tasks with the openness of a PC. On the SIMATIC HMI IPC477C-RTX F, both standard and safety-related tasks can be handled with just one controller.
Communication is via either PROFIBUS or PROFINET interface.
All common PC interfaces for open networking to the office world, such as Ethernet or USB, are on-board as standard.
The device is available with high-contrast 12"/15" displays with touch operation, or 12"/15"/19" with keys.
As a scalable, expandable device, it is the obvious choice for use direct at the machine and when flexible adaptation to the application is required.
