- The ET 200M I/O system

The
ET 200M are mid-size, redundantly configurable, distributed
I/O subsystems, for the expansion of the SIMATIC safety controllers
via PROFIBUS.
An ET 200M station may contain both safe and standard I/O modules
and complies with the requirements of
SIL 3.

The ET 200M, like the other distributed I/Os of the ET
200 series, offers a redundant PROFIBUS communications capability.
Characteristic: modular I/O module for high-channel
applications, with up to 24 channels per module.
