design ensure a safety integrity level up to SIL 3, for plants
with high safety requirements (Process Control of Critical Systems).
Safety controllers monitor themselves
autonomously and detect faults. When a fault occurs they immediately switch
to/remain in safe mode.
You can connect the SIMATIC S7-400F/S7-300F
to any distributed control system (DCS). With the SIMATIC S7-400FH
and PCS 7 you can realize powerful, flexible solutions for the
integrated automation.
