The PCS 7 add-on SIMATIC PCS 7 powerrate contains blocks for recording and processing energy data. The data is displayed in faceplates conforming with PSC 7. The data is archived in the standard PCS 7 tag logging archive, and can therefore be processed further in the context of TIA. Predefined Excel macros are available for the evaluation, and assign the energy consumption to the cost centers and determine consumption costs therefrom.
