Extension Plug and Extension Plug Plus
 The
AS-Interface Extension Plug allows an AS-Interface segment to be extended to
max. 200 m. Thanks to the M12 connection, it can be simply and quickly connected
to the AS-Interface branch in degree of protection IP67.
An integrated undervoltage detection function monitors the AS-Interface voltage;
an LED indicates if the voltage falls below a specific value.
The maximum possible cable length can be again increased to 600 m by using a
combination with repeaters.
The additional version – the Extension Plug Plus – signals the undervoltage diagnostics
signal directly to a PLC. To implement this, an AS-Interface slave is integrated
here that directly signals undervoltage conditions to the master using standard
data transfer. |
