Space
can be saved in the electrical cabinet as a result of the low dimensions of the
power supplies in degree of protection IP20. On the other hand, as a result of
the higher power, even more devices can be connected in the AS-Interface network.
The power supplies are available in various ratings (3A, 5A and 8A), which means
that they can be flexibly adapted to the plant or system requirements.
Functions such as integrated diagnostics memory
for overload and ground fault detection mean that applications are even safer,
components are eliminated and maintenance and downtimes are reduced; the removable
terminal blocks allow power supplies to be very quickly replaced when they develop
a fault.
The wide range input of the 8A version allows single and two-phase use so that
an N conductor is not required. UL and CSA certification mean that they can be
used worldwide. |
