Product diversity is one of Bauder's main strengths. In its main plant in Stuttgart-Weilimdorf,
Germany, it manufactures high-quality materials for the sealing and thermal insulation
of roofs: bitumen sheets and insulating materials made of polyurethane hard foam – for
a range of roof types and customized for specific kinds of processing.
Crucial in this respect is a fast and exact change-over of the mechanics and
the control for the respective production cycle.
So when it came to modernizing the production line for roof sheeting, AS Interface
was the natural choice: because it precisely controls the change-overs of the
plant through to the field; because it ensures clear-cut automation, because
it is quick to install, maintenance-friendly, cost-effective, can be easily expanded,
thanks to its modular design, and because handling of the hardware and software

despite the high level of dust and humidity.
