DP/AS-i Link 20E and Master for SIMATIC S7-300
The new variant of the DP/AS-Interface Link 20E according to AS-i Spec. 3.0 is
an innovative further development of today's DP/AS-Interface Link 20E based on
a new hardware. The CP 343-2 and CP 343-2P communications processors were developed
further in accordance with AS-i Specification 3.0.
Using the DP/AS-i Link 20E and the CP 343-2P,
configuring of the AS-Interface network in STEP7 (from V5.2) requires no additional
software.

Safety Monitors
The safety monitor for ASIsafe is now available in a new device version (version
3). As an option a distributed safe output can now be controlled (e.g. valves
or motor starters) or two AS-i networks can be safely coupled (device version
3). The configuration software asimon was also generally updated with version
3.

DP/AS-i F-Links
Wherever seamless integration of ASIsafe in Safety Integrated is a requirement,
the DP/AS-i F-Link to Spec 3.0 is the solution. It collects the signals from
binary safety sensors at the field level and passes them on to the higher-level
Profibus.

 IE/AS-i LINKs PN IO
The IE/AS-i LINK PN IO is a PROFINET IO- Device (according to IEC 61158) and
AS- Interface master (in line with AS-Interface specification V3.0 according
to EN 50 295 and IEC 62026-2), and permits transparent data access from Industrial
Ethernet to AS-Interface.

DP/AS-i LINK Advanced permits transparent data access from PROFIBUS DP to AS-Interface.
Therefore it is ideally suitable for the distributed structure and for connecting

K20/K20F Compact Modules
The AS-Interface series of field modules has been supplemented by an especially
slimline version: the new K20 compact modules are a complete module series only
20 mm wide and with an extremely small footprint. Depending on the design, sensors
and actuators can be connected via M8 or M12 sockets.
