K45F Compact Modules
The family of safe K45F compact modules features a number of different versions:
Compact modules K45F for connection of conventional (mechanical)
switches/safety sensors with either two safe inputs, two standard outputs or
four safe inputs. In applications up to Category 2 / SIL1 both inputs can be
assigned separately; if Category 4 / SIL 3 is required, a two-channel input is
available on the module.
Compact modules K45F LS (light sensor) specially for connection
of electronic switches/safety sensors with testing semiconductor outputs (electro-sensitive
protective equipment) such as active, opto-electronic standard light arrays and
light curtains. Either a light curtain of type 2 (IEC/EN61496) or light curtain
of type 4 can be connected. Both transmitters and receivers are supplied with
power via the yellow AS-i cable. Accessories include the matching sensor cables
and optionally a separate transmitter supply module.
